A fabulous vintage bureau which has undergone complete refurbishment in our workshop.
Painted in Midnight Ink by Victory Colours.
With ball and claw feet, the balls have been gilded with metal gold leaf providing a stunning contrast to the blue.
There are 3 drawers and a pull down flap which all have working locks operated by the same key.
When the flap is pulled down, struts automatically slide out to support it and provide a writing surface.
The interior sectional compartments have been painted gold.
The writing surface has the original leather which has beautiful patina only created with use over decades.
The drawer interiors do have some minor marks from everyday use but have been cleaned and oiled to rejuvenate the wood and provide useful storage.
The flap sits at 73cm when down so plenty of room for a chair underneath.
