Antique Pine Storage Blanket Toy Box

Victorian Pine Storage Box

A simple and characterful Victorian pine box with visible dovetail joints and a lovely aged patina. This practical piece likely started life as a blanket box or general storage chest and has the kind of honest wear you’d expect from something over a century old.

Made from solid pine, it has a warm tone and a clean, unfussy design that would suit both traditional and more modern interiors. The box retains its original keyhole (no key included) and has a hinged lid that opens to a spacious interior.

It would make an excellent coffee table in a country cottage, as well as useful storage for blankets, toys, or household bits and bobs.

This box has been carefully restored in our workshop. It’s been cleaned, gently refinished- waxed to bring out the natural beauty of the wood while preserving its character. The interior is clean and tidy, making it a practical and attractive piece for everyday use.
