The simple clean lines of this chests were designed by John and Sylvia Reid for Stag, inspired by Scandinavian Designers they were pioneers of British MCM furniture in the 1970’s. This Minstrel range of furniture is currently having a resurgence of popularity. Built to last, practical and now professionally painted we love that vintage furniture doesn’t have to be a one off and we can produce sets of matching furniture. This listing is for one of the most sought after pieces in the range, an 8 drawer chest. We are able to paint other Stag Minstrel pieces from stock to match, please message your requirements.

Much wider than your average chest of drawers this is a very versatile piece of furniture. Useful for an attic bedroom or loft conversion were height is restricted. It is also stylish enough to be used in any room in the house and would make a great sideboard or tv stand.

All our painted vintage furniture is throughly checked, treated for woodworm as a precaution, repaired where necessary, we then ensure the drawers all run smoothly before cleaning, sanding, priming and applying a minimum of two top coats in our workshop by a professional painter and decorator. This stunning navy blue is ‘Old Navy’ by Benjamin Moore. We only use premium products for a long lasting and durable finish.

New knobs have been added in a nickel finish- these can be changed if required.
