The simple clean lines of these drawers were designed by John and Sylvia Reid for Stag, inspired by Scandinavian Designers they were pioneers of British MCM furniture in the 1970’s. This Minstrel range of furniture is currently having a resurgence of popularity. Built to last, practical and now professionally painted we love that vintage furniture doesn’t have to be a one off and we can produce sets of matching furniture.

These drawers are popular for use in loft conversions and for siting under windows. Providing a large amount of storage, they could be used in a bedroom or a sitting room.

All our painted vintage furniture is throughly checked, treated for woodworm as a precaution, repaired where necessary, we then ensure the drawers all run smoothly before cleaning, sanding, priming and applying a minimum of two top coats in our workshop by a professional painter and decorator. We only use premium products for a long lasting and durable finish.

Painted in Beacon Gray by Benjamin Moore, described as light blue/grey which is light and luminous and can instantly brighten and refresh a space. In the workshop we noticed how it changes colour with the light.

New solid brass sT-bar handles have been added in a satin chrome finish (other finishes and or handles are available by request)
