Vintage Oak Pew

This charming antique Windsor armchair is a charming example of 19th-century country craftsmanship, made from a beautifully grained elm seat and beech spindles and legs. With its tall lathe back, curved top rail, and elegant turned supports, it offers both comfort and character in equal measure.

Recently cleaned and polished in our workshop, this piece has a rich, warm patina that highlights the natural wood grain and age-related character. The original varnish has worn over time in all the right places adding to its charm and history. The seat is shaped for comfort, and the arms are gracefully curved, adding to its rustic appeal. Solid and sturdy, it would make a beautiful addition to a farmhouse kitchen, reading nook, or hallway.
