Vintage Country Style Rocking Chair – Solid Wood – 1970s/80s

A beautifully made vintage solid wood rocking chair dating from the 1970s–80s country revival period.

This is a proper, reassuringly solid rocker with a gently shaped seat, supportive spindle back and classic turned legs. The warm mid-tone finish gives it that timeless farmhouse feel — equally at home in a cottage, nursery or tucked beside the fire with a book.

We have cleaned and waxed the wood in the Roosters workshop to enhance its natural depth and protect the finish.

There are some historical worm holes visible to one arm — these are old and inactive and have been treated as a precaution. They do not affect the strength or stability of the chair and simply add to its story.

Structurally sound and rocks beautifully.
