Stag Minstrel Sideboard Painted Black

The simple clean lines of this sideboard were designed by John and Sylvia Reid for Stag, inspired by Scandinavian Designers they were pioneers of British MCM furniture in the 1970’s. This Minstrel range of furniture is currently having a resurgence of popularity. Built to last, practical and now professionally painted this sideboard has been given a contemporary update.

Perfect for use in a sitting room or dining room, with plenty of storage.

All our painted vintage furniture is throughly checked, treated for woodworm as a precaution, repaired where necessary, we then ensure the drawers all run smoothly before cleaning, sanding, priming and applying a minimum of two top coats in our workshop by a professional painter and decorator. The interior has been oiled to rejuvenate the wood. This stunning black in a satin finish is ‘Onyx’ by Benjamin Moore a premium paint which is highly durable.

We have added new premium quality solid brass handles in a matt black finish.
