Ercol Quaker Dining Chairs Model no. 365 set of 4

These are a true definition of a classic piece of furniture. First made (in Britain!) in 1957 and still in production today. When these arrived we thought they were fairly recently made due to the beautiful condition. However, on closer inspection we found 2 of the chairs to have a blue label Ercol sticker. This dates them between the late 1950’s and mid 1970’s, they are in truly remarkable condition given they are at least 50 years old, so have obviously been very well cared for!

The Quaker chair is based on the design of the original Windsor chair, but the back is higher to ensure the comfort of the seated.

A solid elm seat pad affords beautiful grain while the beech frame offers strength and durability in a dark wood finish.

These retail today at £515 each so a saving of over 75% of buying new!
