Avalon High Sideboard 1960’s Teak

A beautifully made 1960s high sideboard in warm golden teak, with elegant proportions and classic mid-century lines, designed in the style of Avalon. The sculpted handles and rich, lively grain give this piece that effortless vintage presence that works just as well in a modern home as a period interior.

The layout is as practical as it is good-looking. To the left, double doors open to reveal adjustable shelving — ideal for tableware, records or household storage. To the right, two drawers sit above a drop-front drinks cabinet, making this a brilliant choice as a dining-room sideboard, living-room cabinet or a retro cocktail station.

Recently cleaned and polished, this is a solid, well-made vintage piece that’s ready to use. As you’d expect with genuine mid-century furniture, there are light age-related marks, all of which add to its character and authenticity rather than detract.
