Stag Minstrel Captain’s Chest of Drawers

A really lovely example of a Stag Minstrel Captain’s Chest, offered in excellent original vintage condition. This is one of those pieces that just works — solid, well-proportioned and built to last, with the kind of quality you only get from proper mid-century furniture.

Finished in its original warm wood tone which is set off perfectly by the original brass ring handles. The classic Captain’s Chest layout gives you brilliant storage, with smaller drawers at the top and deep, generous drawers below — ideal for clothes, bedding or everyday household storage.

We see a lot of Minstrel pieces pass through the workshop, and it’s becoming rarer to find them in such good, untouched condition. This one hasn’t been painted or altered — just carefully checked, cleaned and left exactly as it should be. All drawers now run freely, as you’d expect from a piece that’s ready to be used and enjoyed straight away.

A timeless piece that suits both modern and more traditional interiors and will carry on working hard for many years to come.
