Designed by Arthur Edwards for White and Newton in the very early 1960’s. With its clean modern lines, this piece is iconic of the time. Manufactured by high end British manufacturer White and Newton of Portsmouth this piece is lovely quality. All the drawers run well and it is solid wood throughout including drawers and the back. A solid well made teak piece with stainless steel handles.

A rare example, a matching bureau/ office storage cupboard also available.

Teak desk with a bank of 4 drawers to the right- bottom drawer is double height.

Cupboard with pull down door to the left which contains a small drawer lined with green felt.

In original condition, light marks and superficial scratches as to be expected in a sixty year old piece, nothing notable.
