Large Antique Victorian Pine & Mahogany Chest of Drawers

Large Antique Victorian Pine & Mahogany Chest of Drawers

A handsome and substantial late Victorian chest of drawers, dating to approximately 1880–1900, beautifully constructed in pine with contrasting mahogany detailing.

Featuring two smaller drawers above three generously proportioned full-width drawers, this impressive piece offers excellent storage alongside plenty of traditional character.

With its rounded corners, dovetailed drawers, turned wooden knobs and beautifully contrasting timbers, it would make a wonderful addition to a country house, farmhouse or traditional bedroom.

Previously stripped, the chest has been sympathetically refurbished in our workshop. We have removed the old wax, carefully sanded the timber and finished with wax and then polished. bringing out the beautiful natural grain and warmth of the wood whilst retaining its antique charm.

A lovely example of well-made furniture, built to last and ready to be enjoyed for many more years.
